NH Research 9300-900 High-Voltage Battery Test System

NH Research's 9300-900 High-Voltage Battery Test System is a potent, fully programmable, two-way DC source that may be used to charge and discharge batteries. It is extensively utilized in grid storage, automotive, aerospace, industrial, maritime, and certification laboratories for testing batteries, fuel cells, ultra-capacitors, and other energy storage systems. This adaptable system is perfect for many applications, such as battery charge/discharge cycling, battery charger testing, and battery emulation, since it offers constant power, voltage, and current regulating modes.

The system has a maximum current of 2997A at 600V or 1503A at 1200V and can produce up to 900kW of power. Because of its dual voltage range (600V and 1200V), it can be used for applications requiring both high and low power. The NHR 9300 was created to accommodate changing testing needs. By adding 100kW cabinets, it can be expanded to 2.4MW, with parallel configurations capable of handling up to 8000A. Because of its scalable and modular architecture, the system can adapt to changing testing requirements and grow with them.

Through the feeding of excess power back into the grid, the NHR 9300 system minimizes energy waste with a regenerative power efficiency of over 95 percent. Tests under dynamic conditions are guaranteed to be dependable because to its quick transient response, with a slew rate of less than 2ms. Reverse polarity testing, isolation contactor relays, and integrated pre-charge circuits are some of the sophisticated battery cycler features of the system. By doing away with the requirement for liquid cooling, air-cooled technology simplifies maintenance.

Users have access to several control options, such as a touch panel interface, LabVIEW, SCPI instructions, and applications like NI BTS or Enerchron. The NHR 9300 supports many testing scenarios, such as FUDS, SFUDS, WLDC, and ECE-15L. It also provides comprehensive digital measurements, such as the digitalization of analog signals at a rate of 1 MS/s to produce high-resolution data on voltage, current, amp-hours, and watt-hours.
